ASRock Launches ASRock-X570 PG Velocita Motherboard For AMD Ryzen 5000 CPUs
Today, ASRock Launches Zen 3 architecture supported, ASRock X570 PG Velocita Motherboard For AMD Ryzen 5000 CPUs. This board is named the ASRock X570 PG Velocita! which as its name implies is supposed for quick systems.
The Velocita follows a reasonably standard ATX layout, packing an AM4 socket at its heart, wired to four DDR4 memory slots with support for up to DDR4 5000. within the lower half you will find two PCI-Express 4.0 x16 slots, which can run in 8x if both are occupied or the total 16 lanes if only using the highest slot. Being a speed-focused board, ASRock equipped the board with a lavish 14-phase VRM circuit to power the CPU, claiming ‘unmatched overclocking capabilities’ in its exciting promo video.
The chipset of the board is cooled by a heatsink together with alittle fan which will spin up to 6500 RPM, and therefore the VRM circuitry incorporates a beefy heatsink spanning round the CPU socket.

ASRock X570 PG Velocita Specification:
ASRock equipped two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots for NVMe SSDs together with a complete of 8 SATA ports. In the theme of speed, ASRock also opted for ‘Killer DoubleShot Pro’ ethernet, which mixes WiFi 6 capabilities through the Killer AX1650 controller with 2.5Gbe Ethernet using the Killer E3100 controller.
the ASRock X570 PG Velocita is packed with plenty of features. The AM4 socket is powered by a 14 Power Phase design which has Digi Power VRMs and Dr.MOS MOSFETs solution. The CPU is powered by an 8+4 pin connector configuration. ASRock deploys its XXL Aluminum alloy heatsink solution over the ability delivery solution which has two large aluminum heatsinks that are interconnected by a singular heat pipe to dissipate heat effectively.
The memory support on the motherboard includes four DDR4 DIMM slots which may support up to 128 GB capacities with speeds of up to DDR4-5000 MHz (AMD Ryzen 5000 Vermeer CPU and Ryzen 3000 Matisse CPU) For AMD Ryzen 2000 CPUs, the motherboard offers memory support of up to DDR4-3600 MHz while AMD’s Renoir APU (Ryzen 4000G) lineup also gets DDR4-5000 MHz memory support.
Of course, you do not need to use this motherboard with a 5000-series AMD CPU. It’s still unclear what availability are going to be like for those chips, so within the meantime, a 3000-Series AMD Ryzen CPU will work just fine with upgrade options down the road.
